The theatre within the hub boasted a programme of sessions focussed around attracting new and re-skilled resource & talent to power an accelerated net zero future. The Energy Skills Partnership, in conjunction with a number of their college members, showcased the proactive approach colleges across Scotland are taking to support the Climate Emergency and the Just Transition to Net Zero.

The Power Club is a space on the show floor where invited guests and Gold Badge holders have access to an exclusive lounge. The area is ideal for a ‘business break’, where you can find a comfortable work and networking place.
Introducing Business Energy Scotland
Business Energy Scotland, funded by the Scottish Government, provide free, impartial support and access to funding to help SMEs save energy, carbon and money. Advisers were on hand at Dcarbonise in the Scottish Government and Energy Saving Trust area to help SMEs take vital first steps towards net zero.

An opportunity to learn what’s new and upcoming in the industry and explore the key themes of innovation, investment, future talent, academic innovation, and research (remove CTA)
Hydrogen Hub
The popular Hydrogen Hub featured a Hydrogen and Energy Storage showfloor theatre sponsored by Doosan Babcock and showcase area that demonstrated the very latest hydrogen technology on the show floor.

Our Research Hub is home to academic posters and presentations from key organisations involved in renewable energy in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland. The Research Hub featured a presentation theatre with a rolling programme over the two days.

The Low Carbon Transport Zone, now with a brand-new theatre sponsored by Shell demonstrated the latest EV tech and charging infrastructure from a variety of manufacturers.
Civic Reception and Giant Networking Evening Sponsored by Siemens Energy
The unmissable event that brings visitors and exhibitors together to network The Civic Reception, courtesy of The Rt Hon Lord Provost of Glasgow, and Giant Networking Evening saw well over a thousand gather together at the Glasgow Science Centre just a short stroll over the River Clyde from the SEC.
Arnold Clark Electric Car Showroom
Arnold Clark showcased the future of transportation with its Electric Car Showroom at the event in 2022. With a number of product geniuses on hand to answer all of the visitors’ questions on alternative fuel vehicles and exciting new car technology, attendees were also able to see the vehicles first-hand and book a test drive for a later date, get advice on EV solutions and finance options to suit the needs of their business.
Green Skills For a Net Zero Future
Energy Skills Partnership, in conjunction with a number of its college members showcased the proactive approach colleges across Scotland are taking to support the Climate Emergency and the Just Transition to Net Zero. ESP work with colleges, government, agencies and industry to develop and deliver the capability, capacity and curriculum to support skills for the Energy Transition, Transport, Engineering and Manufacture, Construction and Energy Efficiency. Visitors had an opportunity to discuss their skills requirements, available support and see live demonstrations of the training activities colleges were offering
