How to get here
Not sure how to get to the exhibition grounds? We have all the information you need.
Public Transport
Several bus routes run directly to the SEC area, making it an easy option from across Glasgow. Three services operate to and from the campus, stopping close to the venues on Exhibition Way. It’s a straightforward ride from the city centre, and onward connections are available.
Car
Drivers can access the SEC easily via major routes, including the M8 motorway. A large multi‑storey car park sits on the east side of the campus, with clear signposting as you approach. Drop‑off and pick‑up points are also available near the main entrances for added convenience.
Train
The SEC has its own dedicated railway station, Exhibition Centre, just a short walk from the venues. Trains run frequently from Glasgow Central and other parts of the city, offering a quick and reliable way to reach the campus. This is often the fastest option if you’re already in central Glasgow.
Air
Glasgow is served by three airports, with Glasgow Airport (GLA) being the closest at around 15 minutes from the city centre by car. From the airport, you can take a taxi directly to the SEC, use the Airport Express Bus 500 into the city, or rent a car for the short drive via the M8.
