Over the two-day event, All-Energy will host a series of 1-2-1 ‘speed dating’ meetings in the dedicated Share Fair area, located across the exhibition hall above the central concourse. It’s where you can literally ‘Meet the Developers’ looking to expand their supply chains; and also seek 1-2-1 advice from companies offering to share their experiences so you can mirror their latest achievement.

Thursday 16th 

  • 11:00-12:45 & 13:00-15:00 - East Anglia THREE (EA3) ScottishPower Renewables - Martin Whyte, Project & Delivery Manager

ScottishPower is part of the Iberdrola Group, one of the world’s largest integrated utility companies and a world leader in wind energy.  ScottishPower is the first integrated energy company in the UK generating 100% green energy.  

Our focus is on wind energy and our ambitious growth plans include East Anglia THREE.  East Anglia THREE is a 1,200MW project with the potential to include up to 172 next generation turbines.  The project is 69km from the East Anglian coast and will connect at Bramford Substation following the onshore cable route of East Anglia ONE. 

The project is fully consented and is currently focused on engineering and early procurement activities. Project representatives are particularly interested in speaking to suppliers of: major components, installation and logistics services, commissioning and construction mgmt. services, construction support contractors, marine survey and clearance contractors and O&M service providers.

Interested in new suppliers of hot water cylinders and storage heater and to extend our supply chain, and also to track down customers, e.g. developers, such as project/property developers, construction companies, housing associations, etc.

  • 11:00-12:30 - Peel Energy - Bernadette Barry, Development Manager

Peel Energy is developing a portfolio of gas reciprocating engine peaking plant sites – each with an electrical capacity of between 10 and 50MW. Projects are at various stages of feasibility / development and are looking to target capacity market, balancing service and wholesale market arbitrage revenue streams. We are looking to engage with both engine and full EPC providers for these sites alongside relevant ancillary equipment providers.

  • 13:00-15:00 - WaveForce Energy - John Miller, CEO

Interested in meeting potential suppliers to support the development of our new WEC OWC buoy. We are currently building the prototype for ocean testing and we need the full range of ancillary equipment.

  • 13:00-15:00 Deep Water Wind - Paul O'Brien, Senior Development Manager - DeepWind - North of Scotland Offshore Wind Cluster

DeepWind is one of two Scottish Offshore Wind Sector Deal clusters being formed in Scotland. It will focus on the development of the supply chain around the deep water Moray Firth wind farms as well as the development of innovation and demonstration of floating wind technologies. Developers involved in the cluster include EDPR, SSE, Engie, Cobra, Vattenfall and Red Rock Power. Interested in meeting with all companies wanting to join/learn more about our deep water supply chain cluster and tapping into the UK's offshore wind Sector Deal activity.
