Meet the Developer - Day 1

Over the two-day event, All-Energy will host a series of 1-2-1 ‘speed dating’ meetings in the dedicated Share Fair area, located across the exhibition hall above the central concourse. It’s where you can literally ‘Meet the Developers’ looking to expand their supply chains; and also seek 1-2-1 advice from companies offering to share their experiences so you can mirror their latest achievement.

Wednesday 15th 

  • 11:00-12:45 EC-OG - Graceann Robertson, Marketing Lead

EC-OG specialise in subsea energy storage, delivery and generation. The Subsea Power Hub takes a modular approach to the delivery of power directly to the point of use on the seabed. At the heart of the Subsea Power Hub System is a proprietary energy storage and management technology developed by EC-OG. We are interested in talking to interested parties regarding subsea batteries and lithium ion battery technology – from small to large scale.

  • 13:00-15:00 - Learning Hydro - Gordon Black, Director

In April 2019 Learning Hydro launched its International Broker Service for the trading of small-scale hydropower schemes (up to 30MW) around the globe.  Through this we match people who want to sell their schemes with people who want to buy.  In the ‘Meet the Developer’ Fair Share we would thus like to meet people seeking to grow their hydropower portfolio as well as people who for whatever reason want to sell.

  • 13:00-15:00 - Neart na Gaoith (EDF Renewables) - Alan Duncan, Supply Chain Engagement Lead

As a developer moving into the construction phase, interested to meet potential tier 2 sub-suppliers for CAPEX and potential O&M suppliers.

  • 13:00-15:00 Deep Water Wind - Paul O'Brien, Senior Development Manager - DeepWind - North of Scotland Offshore Wind Cluster

DeepWind is one of two Scottish Offshore Wind Sector Deal clusters being formed in Scotland. It will focus on the development of the supply chain around the deep water Moray Firth wind farms as well as the development of innovation and demonstration of floating wind technologies. Developers involved in the cluster include EDPR, SSE, Engie, Cobra, Vattenfall and Red Rock Power. Interested in meeting with all companies wanting to join/learn more about our deep water supply chain cluster and tapping into the UK's offshore wind Sector Deal activity.

  • 15:45-15:00 Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) - Isla Robb, Offshore Wind Lead and Gilian Morrison, Senior Development Manager - Large Scale Renewables

Find out about the support Scottish Enterprise and HIE can provide to:

  • Companies already involved in offshore wind or companies looking to diversify into offshore wind
  • Companies that want to find out if their product or service is feasible in the offshore wind market
  • Companies that have a commercial question they want to have answered relating to offshore wind

NB: meetings are confirmed at the developers' discretion and dependent on level of demand, an exact time will be confirmed with a member of our team once all the above has been approved.
