Andy Manages Glasgow City Council’s Carbon Management Team and is responsible for developing and implementing policies and strategies to achieve the Council’s carbon reduction targets.

Andy has led on a number of innovative initiatives to reduce carbon emissions in the council including the introduction of LED lighting, ICT control systems and demand-response. 

In addition, Andy has also contributed to many city-wide projects, such as the Future City – Glasgow, EU FP7 STEP-UP projects and electric vehicle infrastructure.

Andy’s experience, knowledge and commitment is a key component of the city’s plans to reduce carbon and tackle climate change.
