Mark Peebles, EWT UK Ltd full interview

What are your thoughts of All-Energy?
EWT first attended in 2011 in Aberdeen.  The event has grown in stature since then, as the surge in all types of renewables developments has expanded.

Why do you choose to exhibit at All-Energy?
All Energy is one of the premier renewables events in the UK but also attracts a high proportion of overseas visitors. The event pulls in the key decision makers for all types of projects, from the consulting engineers to the ecologists to farmer, developer and utilities.

Did you have a good show in 2015?
EWT pre-booked meetings with clients in advance of the show.  New leads were gained for projects that may have a 6 months to 2 years lead time.

Did you do much/new business at All-Energy?
The attractiveness of this particular show given the size, appeals to a wider audience.  Also having moved the event from Aberdeen to Glasgow has only widened it’s appeal.  Getting to the event is easier as well as finding accommodation.

What are you planning to do at the show in 2016?
We may have a new product launch.  However, we need to wait to see what the government decide to do in terms of supporting the medium scale onshore wind industry before

Do you have any thoughts on Glasgow as the new location for All-Energy?
Glasgow is easier to get to for all types of transport, accommodation is easier, finding restaurants is easier.  I would like it to move around between Glasgow and Edinburgh and possibly Aberdeen (once the new bypass/new accommodation is built and they renew the exhibition centre!)
