Giuseppe Sauli, EL Power full interview

What are your thoughts of All-Energy?

We visited All Energy in Aberdeen in 2014 and we decided to participate in 2015 edition. This was our first experience as exhibitors at All Energy.

Why do you choose to exhibit at All-Energy?

We produce power converters (inverters) for small and medium wind turbine applications. Last year UK market was really interesting for us (we installed around 100 converters), so we decided to participate with the target to promote our products and look for new customers

Did you have a good show in 2015?

Let me say that we came to Glasgow having in mind (mainly) wind market. We didn’t find new customers for wind application but we got a good feedback about other products (for Hydro and Energy Storage applications). So I can say we reached our goal.

Did you do much/new business at All-Energy?

We had some good contact and we were able in the following months to close a couple of orders. Quality and professionality of visitors was above the average for this type of events.

What are you planning to do at the show in 2016?

We are actually, as many of our customers, waiting about feed in tariff announced changes. Investor’s business plans are actually on “hold” due to expected reduction in feed in tariff. In any case I’ve already included All Energy in next year exposition list we are going to discuss with our top ,management within the end of this month. By the way if you can share with me some news about new feed in tariff structure it’ll be really appreciated.

Do you have any thoughts on Glasgow as the new location for All-Energy?

Glasgow and SECC look to be a good choice for All-Energy. We have appreciated the organization but sincerely we didn’t had enough time to spend around. May be next year…
