All-Energy 2010 Conference
Our call for papers has now closed and session 'champions' and dedicated steering groups are poring over submissions and making their own suggestions about the content of the All-Energy 2010 Conference. The outline grid showing what is happening on which day will be online shortly, but in the meant ime we can tell you that all of the following topics will be covered in dedicated sessions and/or streams:- Ministerial and governmental keynote addresses -Our opening plenary session on Wednesday 19 May will feature keynote addresses by Matthew R. Simmons, Chairman of Simmons & Company International (he spoke at the very first All-Energy way back in 2001 - now he returns to speak at the tenth All-Energy) and Dr Eddie O'Connor, Founder and Chief Executive of Mainstream Renewable Power.

- POWER cluster Mid Term Conference looking naturally at offshore wind

- Bioenergy in all its guises
- Hydrogen and fuel cells (either in their own sessions or embedded in other relevant sessions)
- Carbon capture and storage
- The traditional session organised by the Industrial and Power Association offering the views of the power industry
- Power storage
- Sustainable transport – the industry view; fuels; novel solutions
- Skills and training
- Regional and national updates
- Renewables for communities: Empowering communities
- Renewables for the farming community
- Grid and networks (All-Energy 2010 is delighted to host the Connecting Europe Conference to cover grid issues)
- Investment, finance, funding and business - including a session on public funding being organised by EPSRC
- Microgeneration including heat (residential)
- Low carbon buildings and onsite renewables including heat (non-residential)
- The Austria Renewable Energy Technology Showcase
- The Canada Renewable Energy Showcase
- Dedicated Scottish Government workshops on both offshore wind and wave and tidal issues
