Day Two programme

Thursday 25 May

OPENING PLENARY SESSION - Fleming Auditorium

Where will our electricity come from in 2020?

Our plenary session will reflect the discussions taking place due to the Energy Review. Speakers representing the gas, nuclear, coal and renewable energy industries will be asked to explain how much electricity will come from their source and why. Presentations will be strictly timed and, in the belief that they will be passionate and convincing, the audience will be asked to vote prior to their presentations; and then again after. We will ask them – and you – to come back in 2020 to see how accurate their predictions were!
