It is acknowledged that the power industry is responsible for around forty percent of greenhouse gas emission. However, the power industry is set to become an eco-guardian as it takes steps to make significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. This session presents the potential environmental performance of the UK power industry and provides the opportunity for delegate debate on this important issue that is the key driver in the current Energy Review.
