New for 2010! The All-Energy Careers Fair on 20 May
Napoleon famously said an army marches on its stomach. Clearly military personnel need to eat well to perform well. But what Napoleon was really getting at with this maxim was the importance of the supply line. And, what more important link in the supply chain is there than people? This year, for the first time, All-Energy featured a Careers Fair throughout Day Two.
This took place in the Boyd Orr Hall, which was also ‘home’ for two key POWER cluster events – Contact to Contracts; and the Academia/Skills Workshop; and for events surrounding Education Day, which brought teachers and career advisers to All-Energy 2010.
About Careers Day: HR teams were invited to set up a simple exhibit space with a pull-up stand and literature rack – chairs and tables were provided.
Information on how to exhibit and indeed, who could exhibit, were available from Enrico Tracogna or Jamie Thompson. Space cost £200 for the day for All-Energy 2010 exhibitors and £750 for non-exhibitors. Click here to see the Careers Fair floorplan.
The ever-popular Jobs Zone was an integral part of the Careers Fair and enabled everyone/anyone to post details of jobs that need to be filled and/or CVs from job hunters.
